Has metric scale to 12.5 cm in 1 mm steps and the 10 part vernier reads to 0.1 mm. English scale is graduated to 5 inches in 1/6 inch divisions and the 8 part vernier reads to 1/28 inch. Verniers are adjustable and can be trued, if desired. Automatic cam locking device allows fine adjustment along the main scale. Made of plated steel and packed in velvet line case.
